kotano is a small trip planner, run by one person, offered to invited groups. It is not a company and there is no support desk. These terms are written plainly because the relationship is plain.

Accounts are invite-only: you need an invite from someone already on a trip. Keep your password to yourself, and don’t invite people your trip mates wouldn’t want reading the trip.

Some things kotano does cost real money each time (reading a link, scanning a receipt, routing a day). Those actions have daily per-person limits. If you hit one, it resets at midnight UTC. Automating kotano to burn through them will get the account suspended.

Don’t upload anything unlawful, and don’t try to reach trips you were not invited to.

kotano is provided as-is. It helps you plan a trip; it does not guarantee that a train exists, that a restaurant is open, that a route takes the time it says, or that the split of a bill is what you owe. Check anything that matters. Flight times, opening hours and travel estimates come from third parties and can be wrong.

Trip data is backed up but not guaranteed. Nothing here creates liability for a missed booking, a missed flight, or a disagreement about money.

You can ask for your account and data to be deleted at any time: terence@shaw.com.sg. Accounts that abuse the service can be removed without notice.
